NU vs CU

NU vs CU
This game is for a bowl bid. Although people say even with 6 wins, CU or NU may not make a bowl. The only thing that makes that statement wrong is contracts with the big 12. So i guarentee that the winner of this game will make a bowl.
So, now to the actual game. At the half, NU is up 35-24. They got down early, but came back fast, outscoring CU 21-7 in the 2nd quarter. Joe Ganz is currently 15 for 26 for 274 yards, 2 TDs and no INTs. He has also ran for two TDs. Maurice Purify has been Ganz main target, catching a TD to make 8 catches for 110 yards, just that much better. Todd Peterson has the other Touchdown. Steve Octavian has been everywhere for the NU defense recording 9 Total Tackles.
For Colordao, Cody Hawkins is 11/18 for 145 yards, 1 TD, and 1 rusing TD. Hugh Charles has ran 14 times for 84 yards. The Butkus award finalist Dizon has 11 takles for CU.
Report after the game, prob sometime tonight will be made.

Rumors 10/23 Morning

Well good morning everyone lets see what we got today.

Angels working on more deals: Not only did the Angels snag the most coveted free agent on the market when they agreed to terms with center fielder Torii Hunter on a five-year, $90-million contract late Wednesday, they put themselves in even better position to land a bigger fish -- Florida Marlins slugger Miguel Cabrera -- or a player who could further bolster the offense -- Baltimore Orioles shortstop Miguel Tejada.

Rangers Center Field options: Andruw Jones if he's willing to take a 1 yr deal. Also on the radar includes Aaron Rowand and Mike Cameron.

Royals focus shift on Guillen: Royals are very intrested in signing Jose Guillen.

Red Sox plan run on Santana: According to multiple baseball sources, momentum for a Santana trade is already building. With the winter meetings scheduled to begin on Dec. 3 in Nashville, that momentum should only continue to pick up speed over the next 10 days.
